EARSS

Expelled and At Risk Student Services (EARSS) is a grant funded program currently available at four schools within Aurora Public Schools:  Gateway High School, Mrachek Middle School, Iowa Elementary, and Side Creek Elementary.  

 

Goals of the EARSS Program are:

  • To reduce behavior referrals
  • To reduce student suspensions and expulsions
  • To build protective factors of students and their families to achieve higher academic success
  • To increase parental involvement and engagement
  • To increase graduation rates
